Darrin Partwood
A man the party met after the events in Buckley. He arrived in town with reinforcements and supplies, saying he heard from Ferenk Howarth that he needed wood to cut. So he came to lend assistance in getting wood to the mill in Hanuman.
He is of slight built, lithe, with auburn hair and an unkempt reddish beard. He bears a saber and longbow with a confidence borne of repeated use. He introduces himself as the half-elf Darrin Partwood and the party sees a “dp” on the pommel of his saber.
Darrin relates he was not very old during the Hellscream War, but he does remember fighting orcs like the ones they described. They had the ability to make it dark and while fighting them in the dark, they were almost impossible to kill. With experience, it was discovered that radiant light and magic that emulated sunlight hurt them. He gives them his dagger, which also has a “dp” on the pommel, saying that if they need assistance, to give this dagger to any watch along the Coastal Trail. He will receive the word and provide help as quickly as able.
