Hektor Gaard

The party encountered this old man on the road with his daughter. They were fleeing Buckley with a wagon overloaded with furniture and it was killing their horses. Alma purchased some furniture off of them. They learned that Hektor thought Dione's husband, Vincent, was a no-account and she was better off without him.

The party later learns that Vincent and Hektor had a fight, Vincent fell and broke his neck, and Hektor drove a stake through his son-by-law's chest to make it look like part of the mystery at Buckley. Alma confronts Hektor with this on 04-21-102 PH. Hektor reveals the secret to Dione and then he leaves. The party later learns that he has built a half-way post on the road to Buckley.
