Anu

The Arcane War ended centuries ago, destroying the Teuton Empire and creating the Wyrding. The once proud empire split into smaller kingdoms and principalities that now via for political control of the Empire's ancient lands. The final battle of the Arcane War forever changed magic in the Teutonic lands. Magic now is twisted and chaotic and mages are banned and hunted by the church of Amesha. Those that somehow escape the burnings often go mad as the Wyrding corrupts their magic. Monsters, an ever present problem in all of Anu, now are twisted and deformed by the powers of the Wyrding.
