Geoffrey lived his life through the Korinthian military. Coming from an unremarkable background, he found military life suited him. The rigor and discipline helped the world make sense. He was what one would call a good soldier, and though he was never singled out for heroism or mentioned in the song of bards, his compatriots knew they could always rely on him.
He fought in the armies of King Roderick I during his ascension towards High King, earning him a Medal of the Purple Crown. For a time he lived with his wife, Meredith, in Calthas, enjoying the city life. But their marriage was childless and after her passing and his retirement, he decided he wanted something simpler yet with more to keep him occupied. So he found himself in the village of Quickmarch, a place he had passed through many times in his military days. Though the resident village was small, there was always much work to do. Eventually he found himself on the Quickmarch Town Council, giving him a chance to properly keep everything in line. Now if only he could lower the amount of mercenaries passing through.
