Blacksite #2369 Cavesystem

At the end of the plane that makes up Blacksite ⧣2369 starts a mountain range. The right side which is still connected with the plane is riddled with holes of varying sizes that gives entry to an expansive cavesystem. Noone knows who made it or if it occured naturally and was improved upon during the decades. The first Syreni to make use of them were the first flood of Syreni suffering from Blackness who got exiled to this Blacksites. As they were able to spread themselves across the whole plane, they used the coral reefs as shelter and the cavesystem became a guarded storage building for food and other items. As other non-sick residents came to the site though, they pushed the natives away until the sick had no other place to go than into the caves. Now it's become their hub. A huge system of caves in which they can spread out but they are never allowed to leave it.

Purpose / Function

It used to be a storage compartment but is now residence for Syreni suffering of the Blackness.

Alterations

After the sick had to take residence they started making bigger alterations to the cavesystem like strengthening supportbeams, carving out different rooms for different purposes and altogether make it more livable through decorations and logistical choices.

Architecture

The natural structure is mostly left intact but gateways are decorated and strengthened and rooms are often decorated with furniture that is directly carved out of the stone.

Tourism

No one goes there. Sick Syreni are just dumped in front of it. It's one of the deadliest places because infection is pretty much guaranteed if you enter the caves. There are also no doctors although there could be ways to protect yourselves but these are fallible and noone wants to take the risk.
