Fithbrook

The Retreat, the Remote, the End of Nowhere

Found in the Palatine County of Daarthru, the Kingdom of Allyn, in the High Kingdom of Myddum, Fithbrook is among the most remote towns in Aorlis, which informs its nicknames, the Retreat, the Remote and the End of Nowhere. It is a land-bound mountain Town in the western foothills of the Upper Aendril Mountains, and it connects to Tankton Town to the northwest by secondary roads; to Tankerville to the south by southeast by secondary roads;to Doncaster to the distant south by southwest by secondary roads; and to Litton to the northeast by secondary road. Fithbrook lies within the Royal North Forest district, so it is under the imperial forest law regime first, and its traditional feudal lords second.
Fithbrook natives are difficult to befriend. They are polite, but they save all serious conversation or laughter for their private friends and neighbors, not visitors. Despite its relative inaccessibility, the town exports glacial ice and wheels of cheese that are favored by connoisseurs. Its crest is sable on a field of tenne, chief sable with four saex’s. The natives protect their privacy by allowing were bears and mondig to lair in the vicinity. There is reputed to be a mondig mage who claims to be king of the ghost winds high up the slopes above town, and his power is considerable.
