Dalgardt

A task agent for The Displacers, Dalgardt is a respected wizard and officer of Veldian law. He manages at least a dozen field agents, sending throughout Arcenveld and Aorna as a whole to track down rogue magic-users and enemies of The Ascendant. 
Dalgardt is even-tempered and to the point, focusing primarily on business. He keeps his personal life separate from the business of the Displacers and cares deeply for the cause.
He is Helmut Lang's handler.
