Magic has become interwoven with many technologies, such as automatons, and the aptly named magitech.
Black-powder creations such have firearms emerged in recent centuries, threatening the long-lasting peace.
It is on this stage that sentient constructs have arrived, blurring the lines between mortals and their creations.

- Automata: Constructs resembling living creatures, which possess a degree of autonomy.
- Black Powder: An volatile and explosive material, ignited using flint in various firearms.
- Clockwork: Spring or weight-driven turning gears, used to automate repeating processes.
- Conduit: A term referring to the Spellcaster required to activate and control Magitech.
- Construct: Any animated item, object, or being - regardless of control or independance.
- Enchantment: The process of drawing on the weave to imbue an item with magical properties.
- Firearms: Black-powder weaponry, propelling iron ammunition along a barrel when ignited.
- Machine: A gear or piston driven device; typically non-magical, even if powered magically.
- Magitech: Advanced technology, powered by draining a spellcaster's magical abilities.
