Architect

Written by Pookas Kreations

An architect is both a person who draws plans from buildings that he designs, and someone who oversees the construction to make sure that the contractors and builders do the work correctly. The best architects have worked up through the ranks of the various craftsmen to gain their various skills and then apprentices to the current architect. In this way, they learn how each of the crafts works and see how they mess together to complete the project.   In some cultures they were called a Master Mason or Master Stone Mason, they were also in charge of all the craftsmen and laborers below them. He had to pay them all from the wages he received from his patron, buy all of the supplies needed, and ensure all work was completed correctly. Any problems that happened was on his head, overtures often had to come out of his pocket.
