Death Mist

In certain parts of Aquatica, there lives a magical organism, known as the Death Mist. It has various other names such as Creeping Death, depending on who has encountered it. 

This mist has various abilities, some vampiric in nature. It can lull creatures to sleep, confuse them, even kill with a thought. Not all kill, but some have grown to crave the taste of fear and death. They mostly feed on the life force of others, a few have discovered they can drink blood, cerebral fluid, and a few others.
