Snow Dragon
There is a legend about a fine creature living in tunnels below the snow and ice of the highest mountains. They burrow through snow and ice like they were nothing, how a bulette travels. Their breath weapon is cold fire, a translucent icy fire or a cloud that causes frostbite and cold damage.
Basic Information
Biological Traits
They are small, active predators, with long and slender bodies and short legs. Not true dragons (but don’t mention it to them). They look like a furry Asian lung dragon. Some mistake them for a baby weasel. Although, after you get a close look the differences are glaringly obvious.
Ecology and Habitats
Snow dragons live under snow and ice, mostly in mountainous terrain. They are rarely seen because they prefer the tight confines of their tunnels. Forming cave-like warrens, beautiful cities, and breathtaking sculptures.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Their favorite food is tardigrades (water bears) and other microscopic life forms as well as rodents and insects.
Additional Information
Social Structure
They are a very communal race, often gathering in large numbers in their cavern homes. The young commonly range far and wide searching for food and a place of their own. During this search, finding a mate is a priority.
Facial characteristics
Their face looks like a blending of a weasel and a dragon with long whiskers and a bushy "beard".
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Any snow-covered mountain or glacier.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The fur that covers their bodies is so sensitive that it confers tremorsense and a limited version of echolocation. Their eyesight is poor, but to compensate, they have Infravision to see the heat of living bodies.
Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms
Ice fleas often cause them problems, but grooming by a friend alleviates this and provides a snack as well.
