Summoning of the Spark

The summoning of the spark is an important ceremony for the novitiates. It is when the potential successors (Oka) are chosen to be trained by the Ajahn (teacher) to become the next Ocha. The Ocha is the speaker, ambassador, or liaison of the World Tree Gaia. They are one with the Tree and its voice. One who is chosen needs to be able to commune with the Tree.
The training is rigorous, both their mind and body need to be in good condition and they need to be open and able to communicate with their psychic emanations. As well as learn to interpret them. They are able to see the apparition of the Tree and understand their cryptic messages towards the end of their training if they can become one with the tree.

As part of the backstory of the tree sap harvest, I researched the oka to gather a more complete history of what was happening during the event.
