The Everbright Emporium
The emporium didn't evolve in the The Fae Wild, but the person that runs it Pip Stardust, had the emporium built to encourage fun and joy to those around him. He is of the Dream Fae race, they feed on others' feelings of joy and fun, especially laughter.
He was tasked with collecting the energy that strong emotions that joy creates. Seeing how much laughter was produced by a jester performing to a crowd, or a puppet show to a group of children, a country fair to children. That encouraged the idea of creating the emporium.
It is located in a bustling marketplace of a whimsical city and is a beacon of laughter and wonder for all ages. The emporium is an odd building, it has doors that open to many of the larger cities. It is located in the capital city of Sylvania. They hired mages who knew how to create transportation portals that are linked to doors in the other cities. All that is needed is to pay the entrance fee and pass the threshold of the door to enter the actual emporium.

Its location in the Fae Wild, adds to the strength of its structure. Its appearance is mostly an illusion, as gingerbread and candy have no structural capacity enough to hold up a building.
History
The old way to attack people into the fae fairs was hidden portals, fairy rings, abductions, etc. This way is easier and money is gained as well. They also tried to relly on the energy from fear, but they discovered that laughter builds more power.
