The Rheum Midnight Caper

For the last couple of months, the farmers in the area have noticed that some of their crops have started disappearing. Oddly it is only Rheum , at night and during a storm. No one knows who is performing these feats. Whatever is doing it is smart, clever, and determined. they leave no trace and touch nothing else.

The Hightop farm has been untouched so far but has been expecting to be the next. They have set various types of traps both primitive and hi-tech, set guards, and alarms, but nothing has worked so far.

One reason no one has seen the thief is that it is tunneling from below, and pulling the plants down into its tunnel.
