My name is Tobey, I am a miner that wanders the tunnels looking for anything that was left behind by previous miners. One day while he was exploring the tunnels below Skylandia Capital he found the first Gravity Stones. He didn't know what he had discovered until years later, when his great-grandson Lucien Vandis found a use for them.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Tobey is tall for a Sky Gnome, but short for an Earth Dwarf. He is thin, wiry, and has no spare fat on his muscular body.
Facial Features
He has an aquiline face with a chisled nose, pointed ears, and short curly hair.
Identifying Characteristics
He has a jagged, diagonal scar on the left side of his face from the middle of his nose to his lower jaw.

He cares nothing for clothes, he has tough skin. Normal cold, heat, and the hardness of the earth don't affect him. Rarely wearing more than a vest or bandoleer and shorts for the pockets.

In his travels, he either found or bought various masterwork or magical items. Including a satchel of holding, pot of heating, everful mug, anklets of spider walking, a belt of strength, and a pick of striking.

Personal history
His father is a Stonechild a cross between an Earth Dwarf and an earth genasi. His mother is a Sky Gnome.
His parents were murdered by marauders when he was 6, but he survived. He ran away from the criminals and nearby mines. After a few years, I came out and met a new family that lived nearby. The father and sons were miners and they raised me. They taught me all about mining, but I also showed them how to find certain ores.
The life forms in the tunnels helped him learn what he could eat and couldn't and his constitution helped when he found out something wasn't edible. When he did leave the mines, many people were surprised at his looks, because of his unusual skin complexion, dirtiness, and how he dresses or doesn't.
Employment
Tobey is a miner born and raised and is only ever comfortable in the underground. He has no problem with being in the tunnels for long periods of time. Always being able to find food and water wherever he goes.

Personality Quirks
Life in the mines is attributed to him being an introvert, and nonconformist. He likes to collect special rocks and crystals and considers them his friends. Because of how he grew up he is content with his situation, he has simple needs and is a survivor. Easily distracted by the call of the ores, and crystals because they sing to him. He is also forgetful about things he doesn't think are important.
Hygiene
He cares little for the concept of cleanliness that many others do and cares little if he has dirt or grime on his body. To him only corruption, blood, or other types of corruption is all that needs to be washed off.

He follows the gods of Ferrakus and Dumathoin, both gods of the earth, mining, strength, etc.

Tobey is confident but an introvert. He is not comfortable in large crowds and is most comfortable alone, although, at times, he will seek to be with others at times.

Tobey grew up with a flying snake companion, as well as a tiny rhinoceros beetle, a speedy snail, and a grasshopper mouse. These are friends that he found in the tunnels.
