Wolf Mouse

While I was camping in the dry areas southwest of the town of Caer Vedwyd. I was enjoying the wildlands and researching the wildlife in the surrounding area. While I was enjoying a quiet time around the fire, I heard a low-pitched barking sound that I could barely hear. I began searching for this nocturnal sound. It was a long and eventually fruitful search.

I found the oddest animal that I had ever discovered. It was a small mouselike creature that acted like a wolf. They hunt in small family packs with both male and female members. Oddly, this species, actively stalks predator insects, other mice, snakes, and other small animals.

These animals are called Wolf Mice, they can live in a variety of terrain types, and since this discovery, I have found them in other areas as well. They prefer sparsely populated areas such as grasslands, scrublands, deserts, and badlands.
