Hw. Druphilla D'Orsey

Hw. Druphilla is a Hallow of Mercannon.
Captain Druphilla D'Orsey saw one of her crew, a young cabin boy, break one of the laws of Mercannon, disrespecting the sea. Soon after, a great typhoon appeared on the ocean as penance.
Legend called for the perpetrator to be flogged to assuage the wrath of Mercannon. The crew lashed the young boy to the mast even as the storm approached. Druphilla, aware of the boy's ignorance, intervened, refusing to allow the crew to hurt the boy. She insisted that to calm Mercannon that she should take his place. She ordered her crew to flog her instead. Reluctantly, one accepted. She was lashed until blood from her back began to flow. Her blood washed into the ocean and mixed with the foam. That moment, the waters calmed. As the flail came down on her back, rather than tearing her skin, it healed. Mercannon accepted her sacrifice.
