Monks of the Phoenix

These Monks live in high mountain monasteries, mostly on the island of Mul. THey venerate the legendary Phoenix, a creature of enlightenment and learning. They also venerate the Phoenix Warrior, the chosen one of the Phoenix. It is said that their purpose is to seek the one worthy once again to be appointed the Phoenix Warrior. They are identifiable by their orange/yellow robes. Though most keep to their temples, many can be found around the land – in cities and rurally. They say they are conducting business for the monastery, but it is rumoured they are seeking everywhere for the chosen one. There seem to be more of them about at the moment.
