Beastfolk

Those unfortunate or fortunate humanoids afflicted by the Beast's Curse

Basic Information

Anatomy

The beastfolk are always humanoid versions of most common animals or sometimes even magical beasts, they have the humanoid structure of two legs, two hands and a singular head (or more depending on the creature)and they retain any special features of their animal, such as tails, beaks or ears. That said the anatomy between each beastfolk varies too much for documentation to catch up.

Genetics and Reproduction

Varies, but mostly the humanoid reproduction method of producing offspring by the way of mating remains.   The gestation period tends to also not depend on their animal race but the race they used to be before the curse.

Growth Rate & Stages

Beastfolk tend to mature at the same rate and stages as the race that they used to be before, or what race their parents or their parents used to be.

Ecology and Habitats

The beastfolk tend to do well and best based on the animal they were cursed as, bat people do well in caves, rats like sewers or dark dank places, and wolves like the woods naturally though people are capable of adapting to other environs.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Depending on the animal they would eat the most natural food delegated to those animals or beasts.   Their hunting methods or food storages would also mimic this method, though most eat and procure food like regular humanoids.

Biological Cycle

Beastfolk age but show little signs of it, dying of age is possible but they retain their prime far longer than regular humans for example and transformed dwarves live far longer in their prime than regular dwarves.
