Lewellyn McGarthy

A young scholar and former detective, human Lewellyn McGarthy was a well-known member of the cathedral of Lorla and former offspring of Lemdaux Village. With his bright, intelligent eyes, he looked right through his fellows, confronting their lies and making sure that everything in his village worked as it was supposed to be. At the age of 26, he got to know a young lady named Alayla Mirren. She immediately caught his eye and he was couragious enough to ask her out. They started dating and soon decided to become exclusive. Alayla and Lewellyn were very happy together, but to his dismay, many were jealous of him being with her. One unfortunate night, he was killed in front of Alayla's eyes, causing her to lose her mind as she grieved him. Before he could bleed out, he was found by a coredweller wandering the sight. He resurrected hours later and, struck by his loss, wasn't strong enough to proceed.
As he was sure he could never see the love of his life again, he despaired and fell into a deep depression. The law of the core cave wasn't working in his favour for a long time. His psychological state began to melt him, causing his corporeal form to age rapidly, before turning half-transparent. In a goo-like form, he returned to the surface world and started returning to his detective ways. It wasn't long until he found the culprit and confronted him - barely a slime clinging to his killer's walls. His revenge was fulfilled during a stormy winter's night as he suffocated his killer in his wooden hut, shortly before 3 am. According to the legend, he dissolved right after and became one with the core. Alayla Mirren is still living in a home for the mentally ill. She believes that he is still out there, bringing justice to those that are lost.
