Temperance Ethereal

Downtime (Week 2) - Religious Service

Feeling guilty from her burst of pride in seeking new powers from her quest to find a jar of restorative ointment, Temperance seeks to make reparations to her deity Eldath, goddess of peace. First seeking a blessing from Eldath's temple, her plan is to go out into the streets, preaching messages of peace and love to the passersby. She also feels called to go door to door knocking on people's homes, offering to perform chores such as yardwork and house repairs in exchange for a few minutes of their time to hear the message of Eldath. She will ask for no contributions, but if any are offered, she will deliver them in the full amount to the temple.   She will make a religion check for the task.

Downtime (Week 1) - Purchasing a Magic Item

Temperance has worked long and hard in her years as a monk to embody the virtues of life, including humility. However, recent adventuring events have left her feeling jealous of her companion's abilities to cast cool spells with exciting effects such as fire and wind. On the first day of her time off from adventuring, she steals away from the group, sneaking off. The group honestly probably wouldn't care that she sought new abilities and powers, but she wishes to keep her quest a secret, fighting conflicting feelings within herself, veering towards concealment and modesty. She sets off to find somewhere she can purchase a jar of restorative ointment. Is this something that might actually prove helpful to the group? Yes. Does Temperance already have impressive healing abilities? Yes. She will tell no one that her true motives are to gain power and to improve her own feeling of self-worth. In fact, Temperance is not entirely sure that she would be willing to spend her money on such a thing only for purposes of selflessness. If she told anyone of this, they would probably think she was being scrupulous and silly.
