Raesh decides to travel to Isondale to indulge in some pit fighting for his time of R&R. You don't get the usual full week to prepare for the fights that you are placed in and so you are at a disadvantage compared to the typical fighters that are here for a week, or more. The ring boss starts you off easy with a fight against a human warrior clad in what seems to be the limited leather armor of plainsman and he wielded an axe. It takes you only a few minutes to best this warrior and get a good warm up. The follow up match is against a half-orc female who very quick knocks you unconscious with a direct strike to your head. You attempt to shield against it by using your shell, but you are simply not quick enough. The final fight is against a minotaur that appears to have had a bad day as he walks out with his doubled handed great axe. This particular fight takes the longest, and while it seems, for a bit, you might win this fight, it is not long before fatigue gets the better of you, and even with your rage abilities you are not able to overcome the minotaur.
Out of character
Round Trip Expenses:
6 days of rations (already sub'd from your character sheet for you).
2sp for additional waterskin (need at least two waterskins worth of water for the trip, coins are already taken off your sheet).
3 Fights:
11 DC and you rolled a 19 Athletics.
17 DC and you rolled a 5 Acrobatics.
20 DC and you rolled a 14 Attack Role with your Warhammer.
Total winnings: 25gp (you add this to your character sheet yourself).
Note: because pit fighting requires a full week to complete it, I went ahead and allowed you to complete it, but you only had 2 days to fight after the 5 day round trip travel, and so I decreased what you could earn and made the checks at disadvantage.
Earned less because of the less time to fight.
Disadvantage because you traveled 2.5 days prior to the fights, and less time to prepare.
