Syl-Sultan Fahd el Rhimod spends much of his time touring Calimshan and reminding the outer pashas and scheming sultans of Daraqadim and Memnon (as well as other foreign ports) that the Syl-Pasha is a force not to be crossed. His own physically threatening presence (and that of his personal bodyguard contingent of 12 minotaurs) ensures that those who meet him understand not to question or cross him either. The few who did so, underestimating his cunning and intelligence due to his hulking stature and gruff manner, died swiftly in manners too distasteful for Calishites to speak of. Few doubt, and many fear, that he is truly his father's son.
