Geryon
The 5th archdevil Geryon is the master of frozen Stygia, The Black Fortress's fifth layer. It was formerly an Daeva Raja before becoming an archdevil; it notably devoured 8112 other tyrants of the Fortress before swearing itself to Babylon. It has a reputation for being erratic, untrustworthy, but intensely powerful, even battling and defeating Babylon himself in the nascent years before the Calamity. In the most recent betrayal, Geryon attempted to consume Babylon whole, being battled by the other Archdevils and Babylon and being frozen under the ice of Stygia as his current punishment. He is the Archdevil that rules over the areas of Heresy against Gods, Betrayal, Snakes, and Forbidden things.
Worshipers of Geryon crave forbidden knowledge above all things. Sacred places are hidden in old libraries and amid the ruins of fallen (or failing) kingdoms.
