Blood Magic

This type of magic was created by The Ancients and is a terrifying notion to most mages. The ability, as it's name entails, involves the use of the casters blood. Or someone else.  The exact means on how to perform this type of magic is unknown. But it is presumed though findings such as The Wish Blade, that this type of magic could perform feats equal or greater to the arcane means.  Most mages look at his practice as grotesque and unnecessary.
