Half-Dragons

They pride themselves on constantly striving to improve themselves in every way. This mentality has clearly lead to those who are unfortunate or don't meet the standards to fall through the cracks of their society. To maintain any position of influence and power one must not only have the respective skills to meet their responsibilities, but be able to defend their position from anyone who would seek to take it from them. The main issue is the elderly, sick, and poor don't do well in this society. In times of crises they are the first to be forgotten about. In addition, for those who are born low in society, they must work incredibly hard to even reach any sort of position that might grant respect. This is incredibly discouraging to many citizens. On the flipside it is hard to argue with results. Despite their turbulent history, the Half-Dragons have proven to be powerful fighters, artisans, and migicians.
