Humans

Humans are quite resourceful. While they don't tend to excel in any particular area in terms of physical or mental prowess, they are quite adaptable to any situation which makes them respected by Outlanders as they tend to be the best at looking at the situation from different angles. This being said, they can be mildly xenophobic, as they have had to fight to maintain their independence on several occasions, and never let go of the previous battles currently they tend to have decent relations with the other races currently, and to some extent even mimic other races cultures. Although they wouldn't admit they have been influenced by other cultures. It's become confusing as this has resulted in the humans operating in provinces due to the fact that their values differ depending on where you are. Slavery may be accepted on one province while outlawing in another. A king/queen of Raegailia is chosen by the previous king/queen and then is sworn into fealty by the council. In the effort that a king for some reason hasn't been anointed or something happens to the successor a replacement is immediately found. If one can not be found the council must come to an agreement on who shall take the throne. This has led to short moments in history where the throne has remained vacant and even civil war. While Reagailia is the Capital and any decisions for Phiontia as a whole are made there, representatives from each province speak at a council to sway the king/queen. The irony being that King/Queen have become more of a diplomatic "judge" to settle disputes between these provinces. One of the most notable things about humans is that they seem curiously comparable with other races. This has led humans to think they are a more direct descended pf the ancient world. Although none of this can be proven. Most races think it's just an odd ability that their race has.
