The Boogieman

The Boogieman was once one of the guardians of The Grove. He took delight in feasting off peoples negative emotions, especially fear. This transformed the Boogieman into what he is now, a creature that haunts peoples dreams. The largest setback for The Boogieman is that is power only grows the more people believe he exists. And his brother, The Smiling Man, has been going around Araria making people either forget, or at the very least believe that The Boogieman is just a story. For an unknown amount of time the two have been at a stalemate, unable to gain the upper hand over the other.
Until now. The Boogieman has manipulated a group of adventurers, The Wyrd Riders into making a pact with him. He has thus used this pact to not only keep track of The Wyrd Riders, but has shown up at inopportune times to sow mass chaos and terror. Now his power trumps The Smiling Man's and he is using this opportunity to increase this gap.
The Boogieman seems to have no real objective aside from creating his next magnum opus.
