Amara Sandrider

Personal History

Amara Sandrider hails from a tropical fruit farming family living near the coastline. Her journey into griffin riding began unexpectedly when she discovered an injured griffin on her family's farm. With patience and compassion, she nursed the creature back to health. During this time, she formed a deep bond with the griffin, which she named Zephyr. This friendship transformed her view of these majestic creatures, seeing them as partners rather than wild animals.   After learning to ride and fly with Zephyr, Amara decided to dedicate her life to griffin training. She moved to the desert north of Idwala, where she established a training facility. Her unique approach, based on mutual respect and partnership, quickly gained her recognition. She trains griffins for racing and jousting, focusing on building trust and understanding between rider and griffin. Her facility has since become renowned for producing some of the finest griffin riders in the region.
