Staev Thistleton

Personal History

Staev Thistleton's rise to power is steeped in tragedy and speculation. Born the third son of the long-standing Thistleton dynasty, Staev was never expected to inherit the mantle of mayor. However, fate, or perhaps something more sinister, intervened. During a family hunting expedition, Staev's two elder brothers, Kolt and Brugel, met with untimely ends. Whispers throughout Thistleholt painted a grim picture, suggesting Staev may have orchestrated the events to secure his own claim to power. Though never proven, the shadow of suspicion clings to him to this day.   Staev's reign has been marked by self-serving decisions and a gradual decline in Thistleholt's fortunes. The once-proud town, adorned with well-maintained buildings, now bears the scars of neglect. The contrast between the town's state and the lavishly maintained stonework of Staev's personal keep speaks volumes about his priorities. He has siphoned the town's coffers to line his own pockets, leaving the community to flounder in his wake.
