The beautiful elven woman Faraine is the owner of arguably the most popular inn in Coale, the capital city of Centruum. People come to eat, drink and be entertained before taking a night's rest in the Far and Away Inn, but many come simply to have a chance to get a glimpse of the owner herself.
Many hearts have longed for Faraine and almost as many have been broken. Poems and songs have been written about her and rumours of her beauty have travelled across the entire continent. Despite all of this, Faraine remains a kind and down to earth person whose main concern is to make sure that the inn's patrons are comfortable and happy with their stay.
Despite her focus on running her inn and seemingly being unaffected by all of the praise heaved upon her, Faraine is a true romantic at heart. She falls in love easily, especially if she can sense that a person loves her for more than her beautiful appearance and appreciates her for who she is inside. She's had many romantic entanglements in her life and sees no problems with being in love with multiple people at the same time and being in relationships with them at the same time as long as everyone involved is aware and accepting. Her longest relationship has lasted for over a decade so far and it is with her partner Irnaya, a minotaur who works as security at the inn.
