Material Characteristics
It is the softest clothing material in the kingdom, and it is light. This means that many layers can be put into a garment wihtout worrying about the person inside overheating. Despite it being made of spiders' webs, it is not easily torn and can be washed easily.
History & Usage
Everyday use
It is only used by nobility and royalty, and is not openly available to other classes. Only women wear it, as it is ideal to make elegant gowns and dresses. It is not sold commercially, and gamrents made of the material have to be specially commissioned. It is actually quite difficult to manufacture, and only select people in the kingdom know how to make it, and this is orally passed down knowledge, and also a closely-guarded secret.
Cultural Significance and Usage
It is worn by nobility and royalty. In the past, the king-to-be's bride would wear it at their first meeting, their wedding and their coronation. Very rarely, dresses from thsi material is worn at other occasions like parties.
Manufacturing & Products
The main raw material is spider silk from spiders' webs. This has to be "harvested", and one metre of this fabric requires the silk from approx. 10 large webs. Any spider's silk works, no matter the species. What happens with it after that is a secret, as is most of the process to make it into a fabric. It is known, however, that it is a difficult, meticulous, lengthy process. And that is not taking into account of actually sweing it to become a garment.

Storage
It has to be hung, as it cannot be ironed (due the fact that it melts when such heat is applied to it). It also has to be washed in lukewarm water, and anything above 30 degrees Celcius can cause it to dissolve or melt. (Don't spill tea over your dress while wearing it- or ever!)
