Carts and Carriages

Carriages

Carriages are only used by people of the highest nobility (high class and royalty). It is quite a simple design: the body can usually hold up to eight people, and a roof is optional. It is mounted on four wheels, with a spot at the front where the driver sits. Th body is usually shiny, decorated with trimming and the like; and/or painted. The wheels are wooden wheels that can usually be easily manufactured. Carriages, unlike carts, often have cushioned, pretty seats. They are drawn by two horses (see here for more on Arburg's horses). The Royal Family have one carriage with a retractable top. They often tour the kingodm in this famed carriage.

Carts

Simpler designs of this carriage have been made for people of lower class, with a baic wooden structure without a roof, and this is usually drawn by only one horse, which is often rented, too. The less noble, more lower class vehicles are generally referred to as carts, and the higher one as carriages.
Cart

The image above is an example of the type of carts that you would find on the orads of Arburg. People, crops, livestock, hay, boxes- they can all be carried with these carts. Of course, depending on what needs to be transported, the carts are altered.
