Cold Snap
"A trail of cool vapor escapes the Caster's lips before dissipating at the snap of a finger. A momentary flash of an aurora fades as subtly as mist from the Caster's hand."
Effect
1d4+ Psy: Cold Damage
A Cold Snap spell causes cold energy to coalesce at the Caster's fingertip. Upon snapping the imbued finger, the Caster directs the energy to a point in line of sight. The Caster must succeed at a ranged touch attack to use this spell. Cold Snap deals damage to a single Target.
Side/Secondary Effects
The Caster can hold the Cold Snap spell for a number of rounds equal to their Psy modifier. Cold Snap can't be used to deal melee touch attacks; it can't be used to freeze water or chill a surface. It deals its energy directly to the Target.
Manifestation
When the Caster completes the Cold Snap spell, a soft glow of the Cold energy may be seen around the Caster's hand in the form of a slight haze.

Cold Snap is considered rude in some cultures because it is accompanied with an impolite gesture. It is referred to as the "Cold Middle" and is followed by turning your back on the person after a vulgar display of the imbued finger.
I love that the spell is considered rude because of the gestures to do it! I'd never thought of something like that before. :D Excellent idea.
Culturally, the Geomancer tradition involves the Sijinn, a group of Elemental people, who were often opposed to each other due to idealistic believes and natural opposition of Elements. In itself, I thought it was kind of natural that some of the gestures could be seen as rude! : D I'm glad you enjoyed that! I love your comments, thank you! <3
