Heat Wave
"The Caster's hand erupts into a small flame; as the hand moves from the Caster's side to side, bits of ember and flame seem to vanish incrementally, until a roaring line of fire busts into momentary life, sizzling into nothingness.
Heat Wave is a spell that draws a line of Fire where the Caster designates. The Caster attempts to set the subject on Fire.
Effect
Heat Wave can be used as a melee or ranged touch attack. If the attack is successful, it deals Fire damage to the subject. The Caster can affect multiple targets with this spell; as long as the Caster can draw a line of no more than 5 feet between the subjects. If so, the Caster rolls to confirm attack for both subjects.

Side/Secondary Effects
Heat Wave can have its damage dealt over time by setting the subject on fire. If the attack is successful, roll for damage. The subject is dealt damage at a rate of 1 damage per round, until it has dealt the maximum damage. Subjects can attempt to put the fire out (AGILITY DC:15) with 1 Action. Subjects on Fire with Heat Wave can't be affected by other Burning effects or a subsequent casting of Heat Wave until the fire has died out.
The Caster can use this effect of the spell to set combustible material on fire. Instead of a 5 ft. line, the Caster designates a small area, no more than 5 ft. squared. Combustible material inside the area of the spell ignites.
Manifestation
Manifests as a flame within the Caster's empty hand; when released, appears between the subject(s) of the spell as a line of fire in the air.
