00.00- Oah & The Loci from the Stars

Era beginning/end

800000001
800000000

All- Life existed beyond the edges of the Throne of Aeon. Oah, God of the Cosmos, interprets the "World Songs" and wanders the Walking Dream. From the ancient halls of the Throne, Oah has sat in observance of All- Cosmos since Creation. Now, as he awakens to an eerie quiet, Oah must do something he has never done- enter the material realm and determine what happened to the gardens of the Gods. This is the mark of the Silent Millenium- when All- Life was annihilated.

MYTH X

Oah, God of the Cosmos, "Eternity's Vigil", "Watcher of Aeon"," Sage of Contingencies". Once given divine Life to observe the realms of an old creator God, Oah had many tasks; of those, he was to interpret the "World Song" of the celestial bodies. This cosmic music resonated from the Aether into the vast halls of the Throne of Aeon, where Oah safeguarded ancient and forgotten memories. Since their creation, the World Songs hummed harmoniously from the pool of vast, Aether that flows both into and out of the stark white and dim grey of that ethereal realm. Oah had existed for immeasurable aeons, watching and listening yet he had never ventured beyond the lip of the pool; he had been forbade to do so by the Laws that bound him to his eternal vigil. Inevitably, as Oah was resting by the pool, he realized that he could no longer hear the World Songs. The Laws that had bound him had lost their meaning. Whole worlds and civilizations had vanished, marking the beginning of a new cosmic era, the Silent Millenia.

Oah had not known Silence- not since his Creation. As he tread the edge of the Aether, he looked into infinite cosmos devoid of All- Life. A great Cataclysm had come in his rest, leaving behind trails of ruin where once glorious realms flourished. The gardens of the Gods had been trampled with no sign of the reason. In this condition, the cosmos was reverting to a primal and volatile state. Thus, the Eternal Vigil made a decision to abandon the Throne of Aeon and venture into the Ley Corpus, where the soul and spirit can manifest a physical form.

Oah crossed beyond the threshold of the realms of physical and spiritual matter, where his divine body, formed of stars and constellations, moved against the darkness as the shimmering silhouette of a man. Where his foot fell, the universe pressed against itself with the weight, spilling darkness and ruined cosmic debris in all directions. His radiant, sparkling eyes peered like starlight through the vast darkness of the Aether. At the center of cosmic chaos, Oah found an entity gorged on the flotsam of countless worlds.

"Galaxia Loci", an entity of vast and monstrous proportions, had brought upon the heat death of universes now crumbling and scattered into a ruinous pile beneath the weight of its massive, serpentine body. Galaxia Loci, whose fiery gaze beheld Oblivion, consumed All- Life with vicious, ruinous fangs of stone. Left with the Galaxia Loci and the silence of the burning, roaring cosmos, Oah was inspired to divine might against the hideous serpent.

Oah's pursuit of the Galaxia Loci went on for immeasurable Time, until the Galaxia Loci pierced Oah's Heart in battle. As Oah gripped the jaws of the massive serpent, a cold embrace grasped his ankles. Death, and all that remained of the various Gods of Death, had emerged from a tear in the Aether that dwindled into a deeper darkness- Oblivion. Dark, skeletal hands formed of icy bone, smoke and fire reached from the maw of Oblivion. The Loci gnashed upon Oah's Heart as the mysterious entity of Death clambered for the dying light of his divine soul, the Auresoul.

With the last of his divine might, Oah broke the Loci's jaw and body into thousands of pieces and sent them hurling through the cosmos. As Oah's blood splashed against the Aether in a crimson nebula, the death spirit reached for the wound in his chest. Together, they were descending into that ruined realm wherein the deities met Oblivion, ravaging what remains in bloody sacrifices of power and combat. The death spirit wished to escape its fate, clinging desperately to Oah's own Life.

Oah's last breath gave Life to the reborn Sun and with a word and a smile, he called it Ao. Without Oah's presence, the Cosmos slows down until eventually, worlds cease to rotate, stars lose their luster, and all moves slowly in stasis and shadow. Cold entropy of the Cosmos is the consequence of Aether with nothing in observance. As the spectre of Death's cold and burning claws grasped Oah's head, a spiritual hand parted the veil between the Ley Corpus and the spiritual realm, Ley Anima.

A divine ray of pure spiritual light and essence showered the entwined deities, blinding them both. Then, the hands of the death spirit were broken by a long, solid rod of blessed marble extended from beyond the threshold of realms. The hands of the death spirit were severed and vanished into the Aether as the rod plunged it through the door to Oblivion.

Attended by a host of Anima spirits, Oah grasped the marble pillar and ascended into the Ley Anima, the transient realm between the physical Ley Corpus and all other spiritual dimensions. Oah was dying as his spiritual body crossed the boundaries between Life and Death. The host of attendants brought the dying God before Amede, the "Warden of Souls". As Oah rest at the Tomb of the Forgotten Creator, Amede wept glistening tears not only for the deity's sacrifice but for the uncertainty of the fate of All- Cosmos.
