Birdbrain
Birdbrain is a goblin working travelling merchant in Bel Tocino. He expresses a curiosity for the various low-magic items he sells, including a glass orb with a clockwork goldfish inside, sleeping sand, and a mutated halfling skeleton. Though he is an exuberant and amiable figure, he up-sells his goods greatly, and his primary aim in business is money. Birdbrain was given his name because of his low intelligence, and the clockwork birds he used to engineer as a young goblin. He doesn't see it as a source of embarrassment, rather as a conversation starter.
Birdbrain seems to know many prominent people in Bel Tocino, having lived there for several years. He often drinks at Jackal's inn, though their temperaments are a little too incompatible for them to be considered friends.
Birdbrain also is particularly frugal and does not take well to people trying to return goods he's sold them, as discovered in Session 19. It was revealed he sold a mundane item disguised as being of magical essence to Merus and his gang. Birdbrain is always determined to get a better deal, and only refunded Merus 15 of his 30 gold. Nonetheless, Birdbrain is not exceedingly malicious in his actions, and generally wants the best for most people, including the party.
