Jackal Hakor

Jackal Hakor is the owner of The Solar Barge: Unique Meals and Drinks, in Bel Tocino. He is an anthropomorphic black dog, with a large frame and small golden spectacles perched upon his snout. His passions include gardening, which he does in a small adjourning garden to his inn, filled with lemon, orange, fig, and olive trees, as well as an assortment of flowers including petunias, roses, and lavender. In the middle of his garden stands a fountain with a mosaic statue extending an outreached hand. Though he believes this is simply a fountain, if a coin is placed in its hand, it shifts and reveals a large chamber. He keeps a small fortune in a panel of the fountain, though Devis took the majority of it while examining the structure.
He also drinks a great deal of black coffee, and does not partake in drinking alcohol despite his occupation. He instead begrudgingly serves it to customers, though he is delighted when someone requests tea or coffee. Jackal's nature may be a little cynical and shrewd at times, but he is generally a pleasant, intelligent, and passionate man, though he has no passion for adventure or exploration. His inn has been present in Bel Tocino for a year, before which he lived in Viso.
