Kallodark

Kallodark is a double agent, representing both the King and Queen and the anarchic organisation The Mute Templar. A powerful sorcerer, Kallodark has the ability to change his physical appearance at will, though in his original form, he presents as a tall, dark skinned half-orc. Kallodark's motives and true allegiances are unknown to most. He has great knowledge of the lore of the Old Gods and has connections throughout the empire, having lived for so long, and due to his parentage, revealed sessions after his first appearance.
Inheriting the building from his father, Kallodark is the official owner of The Crystal Library in Fevesto. He rarely stations himself there, instead leaving its charge to librarian Noric de Arennas.
During the party's adventure to the Marrow Yards in The Twitch, the empty grave of Kallodark was found, suggesting that he is potentially hiding a great deal about his history. In Session 16, the half-orc revealed to Ekxus, though she has not told anyone else, that he is in fact her brother, sharing a mother in Obrax, the Old Goddess of life, growth, and fertility. This is evidently the cause of Kallodark's immense power, and Ekxus is intrigued as to how she may gain similar abilities through their shared holy heritage.
Kallodark's location is often unknown to the party, though Ekxus has the ability to contact him through her dreams, occasionally. His displacement is likely due to his duties serving the King and Queen. The party arrived at the tower in Santa Bella to partake in a Mute Templar meeting. During the meeting, Kallodark was shown to have amassed a great deal of fear and respect. After they agreed to do him a service, Kallodark commissioned the party to kill the bride and groom of a prominent family, Sebastian and Silvia Bolivar. Though the party did not follow through on their promise, taking pity of Silvia, they attempted to convince Kallodark that they had fulfilled his mission. Kallodark seemed to believe them, and rewarded them with the promised gold. That night, he had a conversation with Ekxus outside Moses' apartment, during which Kallodark revealed that Ekxus is his sister, and they are the direct descendants of Obrax, the goddess of life, growth, and renewal. Kallodark displayed his powers as 'the puppet master', cloning and possessing the body of Jhal Brego in the palace. Ester Tordek reported having seen a man whose appearance was very similar to that of Kallodark's, associated with Commander Tao, who attempted to convince Ester they would gift her great powers and a high rank amongst the crownsguard. In the cave of renewal, Silvia informed Moses that she had heard a scratching noise behind the walls. As the group quickly exited the cave, setting fire to entrance, Kallodark's silhouette emerged from the flames. A fight ensued, during which Kallodark sent a wall of fire towards Aries, who took her final breath, courtesy of the sorcerer. Just before her death, however, she summoned a final ounce of courage and struck Kallodark down, apparently unconscious on the sand.
Kallodark later revealed himself to be named Luthesian Atiq, a man recruited into the crownsguard years ago. After his abilities were found out, he became instrumental to the King and Queen. As a young man, Luthesian sold his soul to the Queen, an action he now regrets, as his body is often overtaken by the Queen to mess with him.
