Merus Antoni

Merus is a young boy who lives temporary in Bel Tocino. Abandoned by his parents, Merus has grown up with a small group of friends, serving as the head of their gang, named the Lost Children. He often rides on the shoulders of his friend Solas, the strongest of the group, pretending to be taller and older than he is. The other members of the Lost Children are J'Khan, the smartest of the group, and Mateo, the youngest.
Merus originally met the group at Jackal's Solar Barge, where he attacked the merchant Birdbrain for charging him and his boys too much for a mundane item. Though Merus was initially a little abrasive, the boy is charming and smart, if a little naive. He speaks with a heavy accent and wears bright war paint, as he saw his father do when he was young. He claims to have a girlfriend and a base of operations for the Lost Children, but with insufficient funds, this is unlikely.
After Merus stole from Balasar at the executions in the palace, the party took pity on him and his friends and gave Merus a little money for him to contribute towards getting an education for J'Khan, who he believes is very intelligent.
