Cherry Bomb

A small thrown magical explosion that finds frequent use by mages.

Effect

You conjure a small red orb of unstable magic into your hand and lob or roll it to a point on the ground within range. The orb explodes at its destination with a loud bang of concussive force which can be heard up to 100 feet away. Any creatures within 5 feet of that point must dodge, take cover or take light sonic damage, and be deafened for roughly a minute.

Manifestation

A vibrating scarlet orb pulsating with crackling energy in caster's palm before dissipating in red explosion.
