Casting Time: 1 reaction, which you take in response to you or an ally within 2 spaces failing an Ability Check

You channel magical insight to the creature who failed the Ability Check. That creature can roll a d6 and add the number rolled to the check, potentially turning it into a success.
At higher levels: At 3rd Level. You can cast this spell on a willing creature of your choice that you can see within 6 spaces of you.
At 6th Level. When the target rolls a 1 for the benefit of this spell it may reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1. The dice rolled is now a d12.
At 9th Level. You can choose up to two creatures to receive the benefit of this spell. The spell ends when both targets have rolled, and each target may only roll once within its duration. Effect
You ask for guidance from an external source dear to you (a divinity, ancestors, fate, etc) and touch one willing creature about to do a single task. The spell increases the chance of that creature's success on that task and ends once the task is complete regardless of the outcome.
Source
The source of the guidance is up to the caster/player as it is generally an external and distant source of belief or inspiration. Common examples include a divine being like a god or guardian angel, ancestors that are venerated, memories that spark joy, respect for nature and natural law, belief in magic, an important person in their life or even belief in themselves as examples.
