Psychokinesis

Psychokinesis describes the phenomena of mentally influencing external objects or events with the use of PK energy. Parapsychologists divide psychokinetic phenomena into two categories: macro-psychokinesis (telekinesis) - large-scale psychokinetic effects that can be seen with the naked eye, and micro-psychokinesis - small-scale psychokinetic effects that require the use of statistics to be detected.

Manifestation

Psychic power can manifest as the following abilities when in an sufficient amount:
Telekinesis
The ability to manipulate objects by the power of thought. Telekinetic force works roughly as an analog to electrostatic force, a mental field generated from the psychic can produce waves that polarized objects which can be attracted or repelled by their field. This is the default mode of interaction for spirits in the ethereal plane, through a few spirits have enough to influence the material plane with it (poltergeists).
Telepathy
Transfer of information on thoughts or feelings between individuals directly into their minds with PKE. This is the default form of communication for spirits.
Extrasensory Perception
Perception outside the known physical senses, instead relying on PKE.

Dowsing
Ability to locate objects, sometimes using a tool called a dowsing rod.
Psychic medicine
Healing by channeling psychokinetic energy to either increase the beings innate regenerative properties or directly repairing damage.
Levitation
Bodily levitation and flying, typically by PKE pushing off the ground. Incorporeal spirits, are in constant weightlessness and use PK to push themselves along.
Precognition, premonition and precognitive dreams

Perception of events before they happen.
Psychometry or Psychoscopy
Obtaining information about a person or object, usually by touching or concentrating on the object or a related object.
Remote Viewing
Gathering of information at a distance.
Retrocognition or Post-cognition
Perception of past events that one was physically present or aware of at the time.

Aura Reading
Perception of energy fields surrounding people, places and things.
Astral or Mental Projection
An out-of-body experience in which consciousness becomes separate from the physical body.

Localization

Psychokinesis is propagated by Psychokinetic Energy from the mind of a creature.
