Exitium

Formerly known as the military city of Opprimere, Exitium is a ruined settlement located west of Kuroi in the recently founded country of Noir. It was said that Exitium was a fearful city due to many military camps set up and how many people were forced to be drafted for Opprimere's attempts to gain power against the other countries. However, the city was later abandoned 4 years after The Bloodless Skirmish of Gate where Armand later exposed their illegal forceful drafts on their citizens unwilling to accept them.
In the modern era, it was later discovered by Avel Arrow during his exploration of Kuroi. There are also plans to convert the abandoned military city into a port city of Kuroi.

Government

The government in Exitium was the same as the other cities and towns of Opprimere in terms of dictatorship. But due to its purpose to train future soldiers in their military army, the city itself was led by the general of the main army in there named Elliot Vol, and sergeant Quill Dail.

Districts

Not as much is known about the districts, but it was recently discovered that the city once had several districts related to the branches not too dissimilar to Potentia's districts such as Intelligence, Snipers, Melee Combat, and more. There was even a district specially made as the living quarters for every major general and sergeant and other nobles and the wealthy who were aiding the country through their money. It was rumored that an architectural designer was formerly an Exitium recruit who was inspired to create districts based on the Rune Academies in Potentia.

History

In the era of Arcanum's founding, Exitium was a city specifically made to build several military camps for the country's operations. People of Opprimere who were forcefully drafted were also forced to move to Exitium to start their training. It was also infamous for its rumors of abuse against several recruits and the lack of food given to them due to their habits to hold them off as their punishment.
4 years after The Bloodless Skirmish of Gate, Exitium was under fire due to Armand Colby finding shreds of evidence regarding the abuse against the recruits, and they were recruited without their consent. Then after he defeated Rigid during the raid when he exposed him for his connections to many crimes and terrorist attacks that occurred in Gate, the recruits were freed and moved to Core to recuperate from their trauma, turning Exitium into a ghost city for many years. As for Rigid, he was arrested and his current location in the present day is unknown.
In 2021 after the founding of Kuroi, Exitium was later discovered by Encounter of Innovations guild headed by Avel Arrow and in an attempt to see if it can be renovated as a new city specifically used for airports and several ports, they turned the ruined city as an archaeological site owned by Encounter of Innovations.

Points of interest

Originally, there was a large statue of Rigid Glare in the central area of the city that was supposed to be the gathering area of many recruits. It was also used to serve as a venue for Rigid's state of address speeches to the city and the whole Opprimere. In the present time, the statue was completely destroyed by the previous recruits and remained as a ruined monument that some archeologists were digging up and researching through Opprimere's history.
There was also a crudely-made gravestone in the forest nearby, honoring the fallen recruits who failed to survive. It was later remade into a memorial built by the Rune Council builders to remember the fallen properly.
