The Sigil of Oculus

The Sigil of Oculus is one of the lost technology rumored to be created by Rigid's magicians through the mysterious materials found in the nearby ruins of the Ancient Arcana Ruins. It was said that it could analyze even the most mysterious artifacts beyond the creation of the universe.
Currently, the artifact itself was lost after the war, and other than documented reports of its existence, it remained undiscovered to this day.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

According to the reports, it was supposed to give the Opprimere soldiers the ability to sense their current status and their enemy's plans through telepathy. It was also said that it was able to communicate their allies through the same power and grant them powers copied from their enemies. Not only that, it could increase their vitals such as strength, magic, and speed.

History

(As most of the artifact's details were only documented in the Opprimere's reports found in the wreckage of one of their research facilities, not all of the details are inaccurate.)
The Sigil of Oculus was created by the researchers of Exitium weapon research laboratory. From their research, they discovered how people from the past created unseen inventions that instigated the growth of humanity. Inspired by the legends, Rigid commanded the researchers to create the sigil for the country. Based on the ancient blueprints from the Arcana Ruins near Exitium as Rigid wished, it was intended to upgrade their soldiers so they could counter any enemy plans that would have crippled them. It would have been Gate's destruction if the sigil was unveiled to the world.
However, before they could unleash it, Armand Colby quickly raided the facilities and shut down facilities after incriminating pieces of evidence against the country leader's crimes against his people such as forced labor and drafting, abuse, and disregarding the citizens' safety. With the help of Adventurers and Protectors, they destroyed the mass-produced sigils and arrested the researchers and soldiers who aided its construction and research.
As for the Sigil itself, two prototypes were taken by some researchers who were still loyal to Rigid. But not has much known about its existence after that as it suddenly disappeared after the war.

Significance

To Opprimere, it was considered as their ultimate weapon and their supposed trump card that would have eliminate Gate and Hakumei once and for all. But to the eyes of the Rune Council and Riyoku's party, they only saw it as an artificial strength that won't grow with the user if they rely too much on the sigil.

According to the reports, there were only two Sigils made as prototypes. There were also several more found intended to be the mass-produced version of the Sigil, but they were also found broken, probably during the final raid against the country. This made the only two prototypes the only versions of the Sigil.

Raw materials & Components

The sigil itself was said to be made from the material exclusively found in the Ancient Arcana Ruins. From the reports, it was made from Moon Steel, Black Core Mana, and the fabled Eye of the Moon. Also, both prototypes were made from the Crystal of Light on one and the Crystal of Darkness on the other.
