Dragon
(W.I.P article, will get back to it later!)
Basic Information
Anatomy
Dragons are considered great reptiles due to their lizardlike features. They got their names by their bodies resembling that of a komodo dragon but with taller legs and tail in proportion to their far more gargantuan bodies.
The name dragon was thus taken from the name as these creatures were seen as far superior not only due to their intelligence, but the added features and variety among dragonkin. One of these features are their grand, majestic wings etched onto their backs through a set of extra arms. The muscles and sheer force of this leather, accompanied with the hollow bones of dragons and a thick muscularity allows them to fly at high speed for long ranges, though they'll often require to land in order to sweat out and regain energy to take wing again.
Additional Information
Facial characteristics
Dragons can have many various shapes and forms of faces. Some take shapes more similar to that of terror birds, while others remain more graceful or at times even aquatic. Addons like spines, fins, spikes, organic plates and even hair or feathers make these creatures colourful and allow them to stand out from the rest of their peers.
Average Intelligence
Dragons are wise creatures. Though their lack of hands do not allow them to create much without the involvement of powerful and intricate magics, they are known to be natural learners. Especially of language and magical schools best suited around their currently adapted domain.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The senses of a dragon can be considered enhanced in compare to most mortal ones, but lacking in compare to many other avian beasts. Their eyes though more perceptive than a humans,
are far from as keen compared to most raptors or great birds. A trait which they make up a bit for with the scent of a bloodhound. Beyond smell though, dragons have no better hearing or magical capability than an elf, although just slightly improved.
Biology
Dragons are incredibly skilled at adapting to their enviornments. As seemingly immortal beings, their evolution works different than most creatures though. These great lizards will molt their skin like snakes, once they find a new habitat. Slowly over time, they'll molt time by time again until their bodies and sometimes even organs and blood temperature is changed to best suit their new climate. Like that, they can through time and energy adapt to nearly all situations and to most exremeities.Civilization and Culture
History
The history of the Dragons is an odd one. Their primordeal origin is that of a realm within the hells, which got opened up by an ancient race that once ruled the lands of Equilibrium. The noble beasts were taken as slaves and captives, meant to become trained and plated up warmachines that'd help them restore order and purity to the infernal realms. Ironically, they failed to percieve the fact that these creatures were nothing else than prey within their home world. Like pidgeons in compare to other beasts.
Sent back in to hell to conquer their titan masters, the new army of Dragonkin would not only absolutely destroy their opposition, but utilized their knowledge of the lands to cast of their chains and force the rest of their domain into their own kingdom. Never having lost the sense of free will, they cut off access from the two worlds and swiftly wiped the slate clean with their old captors.
They only emerged once more on the world of Equilibrium, the the abyssal horrors now sought to stretch their tendrils into the heart of the world. Released by Draghânir, the bewinged harbingers came to lay their claim on this world now. Though, this time invited by the forces of order themselves to reign chaotic hell with beastial fury on the taints.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Likewise, the reptilian bodies of dragons differ often dependant on their territory and brood. The colouring always depend on the brood, where the Black Brood has darker colours, the Blue Brood is coated in shades of blue and the Red Brood naturally mixes different shades of wrath, passion and energy. Their markings help decide which clutch they come from, which would be the broodmother or broodfather that cared for the dragons specific egg before hatching.
They can also have different minor parts on their bodies, like extra fins, spikes, plates or a clubbed tail. All dependant on what they require to best adapt, which they are able to grow on themselves through hibernation and molting.
