Fredwalds guide to the Mystical Realm: 1, "Death of divines and the conseqences".
An explenation to where and what the divinie "blood" do to nature.
To the inhabitants of Arcathia it is common knowledge that the world consists of two realms. The physical and the mystical. The world the inhabitants walk and the one consisting of natural laws, genetic codes, souls and divine beeings. These divine beeings, strong in their own realm is no more powerfull a child in the physical realm. Therefor the so called gods, inhabiting certain aspects of nature and existance could not battle the power of corruption in their own realm and had to seek mortal vessels to do their bidding. Yet all but the god of death failed and were slain, leaving their residue to fall freely in the mystical realm. This so called blood spread out and a handfull of souls before beeing sent trough the gateway to their living hosts passed trough the blood and soaked it up. This on birth gave the blood on the creature a different genetical structure where some chromosomes where affected with natural laws beyond their norms.
Manifestation
There is a total of seven known and two unkown residues out there. Black, Green, Blue, Yellow, Purple, Brown and Gray. Unkown is Crimison and White bloods. All these carry their own different codes that evolves humanoids aswell as animals. Yet it is mainly shown in humanoids whom learn naturaly to use strong mystical abilities and recieve lesser physical adventages. Animals are slightly stronger yet the blood doesn't seem to affect them close to as much as humanoids. What however is the common knowledge behind the law of bloods is that the blood when spilled has hints of another colour than red.
Localization
It's long been speculated why some cultures and/or races are more common to carry a certain blood rather than it beeing random. However recent mystical studies point towards the divine beeings having to go back to the mystical realm to regain power as without a living host to act as physical code inside, they weaken and start to cease existance. Therefor it was vital for them to go back to their realm. In the mystical realm however the physical is effected and their strength is larger and regains faster if they are among the correct biom, flora or overall nature for their aspects.
Green blood is more often found in the common lands of Arcathia down in the southeastern region where large sprawling forests and lush jungles bloom, as the goddes Jingváelica, mistress of growth, life, bloom and natural selection was slain there.
Blue blood or the gift of Ofhala only exists in the southern seafork where three continents meet. The god Ofhélamitrius, conqueror of water, waves, charity and technology, often seen as the strongest of divines ruling over the merciless endless blue made a valid stand against corruption, destroying a big part of it and wounding the god of corruption was in the end slain by luck. The blood seen as the most powerfull one yet most rare still remains in uninhabitable waterspace, yet four or five souls have passed.
Yellow blood beeing the far most common dominates the middle of the common lands of Arcathia beeing spot down in the middle of the hot and sunny desert. Ysand the father of temperature, knowledge, warfare and humanity was slain in the middle of the desert wasteland, not to far from the lush and living coast. The coast has always hosted tenfolds of human cities and therefor the yellow blood is common and seen as "natures way to prove whom is nobility."
Purple blood is the main reason the bloods are counted as natural laws. The corrupting essence twist the very nature around it and affects trees bark with an infected purple moss and gives the leaves vile purple spots. The grass itself close by is pink and rocks often malformed in weird structures they are not supposed to physicaly hold. Beeing close to one of the corrupt spots is wrongly told to permanently affect a beeing to drown in pure lust and hate. The northeastern lands of the Dark Elves, Drew or "Pleasure Seekers", once known as the holy and devoted Pale Elves settled down right in the corrupt area without knowledge of the danger, resulting in them beeing lightly corrupted and changed, yet not necessarily turned twisted and evil. The cause of this was the violent and brutal slaughter of Draghanîr, overlord of Corruption, Wickedness, brutality and deformation (Often wrongly refeered to as fertility trough dwarven spite and rumors). Sarak inhabiting the body of a humanoid champion went into the realm of mysticism drove a scythe trough Draghanîr who came from... Somewhere, it is unknown why he was slain in the spot he was. With most surronding Sarak there is lack of vital information on the subject.
Brown blood or bronzeblood is the residue from Whymnír, maker of mountains, metal, mechanics and... If the dwarves are to be trusted guns and explosives. Ancient Necrolid or as they like to call themselves Charpacans text and archons state the fourth was "reality" as Whymnír was the oldest and first beeing to come and be slain. Trough creating the "gateways" if they now exist, the physical realm came into the mystical and gave the seed of corruption. Whymnír was slain on his forge, in the massive mountain of Drawaheim, home of the dwarves in the westnorthern region of the common lands of Arcathia.
Gray blood or silverblooded or even emperorsblood causes the veil between the physical and the mystical realms to weaken, causing mystical arts or magic to be much more efficent and easy to work with. A very small part of it was spilled in the southern plains of Svylae where the divine beeing Svylaeana, mother of secrets, conciousness, chastity and wisdom was told in elven lore to be assassinated in her sleep. A strong consentration of her blood ran out on a small spot, causing the area to sparkle and glisten, giving the city-large area a glamorous look about it. The area is now known as Thémanîln or "No mans city." A large elven city where only female live as men are thought to be madly seduced from it's looks. Something Necrolid or Charpacans and Dwarves have often complained about. Dwarves with their despite to elves and their culture and Charpacans to their famous mocking quote. "Who puts a city of nuns on the worlds largest powersource".
Black blood as everything else with Sarak is unkown. Creatures to inhabit Sarak's powers have been found yet scribes from all around Arcathia have been unable to localize a natural phenomen along it.
