Geomancy

The man closed his eyes and leaned down to press his hand to the soil. Feeling it with his fingers, he could trace the resonant activity through the ground like pulsating veins of the earth. "Northwest from here." He eventually mouthed out, while rising from the dirt. "Oh, and I'd prepare for a fight. There is at least twenty of them.

Basis

Geomancy is the arts of earth and soil. To draw from the geometric fields around oneself and use the forces of chaos to wield and shape bits and pieces of it. Geomancy is the most mathematically and geologically complex shamanistic art, found within the mystic dicipline.
It works by having the caster read the geometric fields for their resonance and momentum underneath the soil. Channeling a mixtures of forces between magnetic and gravitational energy, they draw an invicible circle around them from earth aspected energies, which allows them to levitate, shape and throw formations of rock, dirt and most other natural materials within the radius of their circle. Although, this is limited to only twice the weight of material an average man would be able to lift, lest the energies become too compact and destructive to safely channel.
If overdone, the rocks may cause near volcanic explosions of heat which can seriously injure or even kill the caster and those in close proximity. They also leap a risk of burrying themselves alive or petrification.

• Earthtuning
  The art of attuning the earth to ones own accord. Shaping and bending it into different forms which can be used to create earthern shields, throw earthen projectiles or simply raise a small pillar of earth from the ground just because. Earthtuning is no easy type of magic to handle due to the heavy amounts of focus and even mathematical, geological equations one needs to run through their mind to shape and cast it.


• Magnomancy
  Magnomancy involves magnetism and metal. It's a magic where one uses the potency, or even changes the direction of attraction on various different metals, which makes it a great utility against plated foes or machines. Magnomancy is mostly used within protective armours though to negate the force which projectiles strike them with.


• Resonancy
  This type of magic revolves around reading the resonant patterns underneath the soil. It's a rare art of geomancy which is mostly used by tribal folks in areas with a lot of earthquakes or risk for other disasters, as the magic can often help them predict when they take place. Resonancy can also be utilized to read the landscapes like a compass though and can also be used to localize threats and targets nearby which touches the same patch of earth.
