Holy Frigate
Propulsion
The ship is run by a steam engine, which powers a propulsion device underneath the waters, allowing the ship to sail on the right course, regardless of the winds surrounding it. Though, to ensure not too much coal is swallowed up by this furnance, the ship still has some large sails that are used whenever the wind favours the charts.
Weapons & Armament
Armed with two mortars on the deck, thirty cannons on each sides of the starboard and several harpoons. The Holy Frigate was built to be a powerhouse on the seas, with the cannons rather than having a single big pipe, is loaded with organ guns on the top deck, as well as revolving tripple cannons underneath the first deck, which can shoot thrice before reloading. Naturally, to suppliment such heavy weaponry, an entire deck, being the bottom one underneath the surface, is loaded with weaponry and ammunitions.
Armor and defense
Rather than being an old school frigate built from nails and planks, new technology gained from the skyships of Normania have allowed them to be built from pure heavy duty plating and bolts. Thus, making it hard to pierce where ordinary cannonballs will sometimes only buckle the plating. That is, if they can breach the marble coating reinforced on top of it.
This stone, while offering a powerfull defense on it's own, is technically a pure show of wealth and attitude. It is from these intricate patterns within the marble that the ship gets it's holy from, as the steel wired decorations make the vessel look like a massive cathedral approaching from the seas, though instead of having any beautiful maidens or beloved wise gods depicted on it's front, the faces of terrible seamonsters lie - as it is believed the combination of sacred and terrible will keep lesser serpents at bay.
Communication Tools & Systems
Within the captains cabin, there is always a large booth combined with a crew of intelligence units that oversee communications via radio with other ships of the fleet, as well as with the closest link to the mainland. The captain themselves also usually have a private telephone from which they can make important calls like contacting the merchant unions via link to ensure the legality of confiscated goods.
