General Physical Condition

Though untrained and having most hours of her day spent within laboratories, Lady Rabensturm still has a well taken care of health and skin, as lacking blotches and marks that are often common among chemists. While she isn't exactly fit either, she's not unfit. Being more ordinary in body and physique.

Firmly shaped cheekbones with a near everpresent frown on her nose, combined with high arched eyebrows and taller ears.

Apparel & Accessories

Wears a fancy purple and blackish labcoat with a matching protective undershirt, pants and a pair of tall boots. Accompanying this she tends to wear a pair of big odd googles to protect the eyes from chemicals, striking lights and flying droplets.

Personal history

The story of Kris starts as born within lower nobility among a minor household with sworn bond to the House of Crow's. House Rabensturm was a tiny town on the mountain outskirts, found next to an iron mine and a fresh water river. The House in question had always been founded on science in metalurgy and the development of harder steel pickaxes and explosives such as dynamite, to access more ore within the mines but also refine more of the gathered resources.   In her youth, Kris used to learn directly from engineers and scientists about refinement, alloys and metalurgy. As a base of not only her noble, but also the entire cultural Morstein herritage. It also turned out to become a facination of hers, though less so the process between everything and more so the results and their further functions.   As she grew up, the young woman was eventually allowed to delve into more dangerous stuff, such as chemicals and volatile concoctions. This is when she started to get a taste for fuels and oils. How machines could work through chain reactions of different parts doing different types of work, just by heating up stuff like coal and letting the steam vapours build up energy. It was this energy now that facinated her, to eventually lead into the founding of a laboratory experimenting with oils and flamables to see if she could create some form of special blend that burned brighter and richer with force than ever before.   Though she succeeded in creating some impressive weapons, where the fire would ignore water, or impregnate wood and scorch it from the inside out, she was less so interested in destruction than creation which eventually had her abandon the research and returned to aiding her mother in teaching new pupils the art of metalurgy.   Everything would change one fatefull day a fifty or so years ago, when thunder was for the first time channeled into technology by a madman in the New Lands which spurred rumors and new legends to rapidly spread through the known world. Facinated with this power of storm, she'd start experimenting with different leading acids and chemicals, untill eventually she developed the first batteries. Pleased with her new work, these batteries swiftly became popular among miners to light up the darkness with electronic devices, as well as the creation of generators to make small machines able to drill tunnels through the earth.   Soon after her mothers retirement and with the House of Shadow's war on the horison, Kris eventually mixed her protege skills for creating weapons with the old oils and new invention of tezlacoils to form a part of Stormpunk technology called Stormtech. Some of these new weapons did not prove too effective at all in battling well armed armies from other households or nations, as the ammo of fuel and electricity was too expensive to mass produce and many of them still didn't deal significant enough damage to be worth their value. However, these new tools proved to be a class entirely of their own when it came to taking down beasts and monsters. Properly armed and trained with the weapons and utility tools, a squadron of agents could take on smaller armies of abyssal spawn or demonic hordes on their own, while still emerging victorious with minimalistic or no losses at all.   Thanks to their unique capabilities in warfare, the old Crow granted her new Handmaiden full access to whatever fundings, scientists and engineers she needed to found the Rabensturm Institute.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Lady Rabensturm's first breakthrough included the successfull creation of rustfree steel and developing more effective ways of galvanizing metals. She also invented some of the first batteries that while although not the best, managed to drastically lower mining accidents from the past year. It was the usage of new mining helmets with a lamp attached, combined with handheld drills which allowed them to work more securely and effectively.

Failures & Embarrassments

Before Lady Rabensturm utilized her experimental oils as a righteous weapon against abyssal spawn, her first accidental development of such horrid weapons was a secret stolen by the House of Crocodiles and rumored to have been used against rebels and prisoners as a means of torture and executions. Giving her a stress induced breakdown of guilt, even though there was no evidence of the rumors being true.
